No. 2 Protective Oil

No. 2 protective oil is blended from refined mineral base oil with added viscosity index improver, anti-rust agent, antioxidant, etc. In 1996, it passed the technical appraisal organized by the General Staff and is currently the most widely used protective equipment in our army. It can replace the No. 1 and No. 2 protective oils in GJB2049-94, and is mainly used for daily wiping maintenance and short-term (1 month) protection of light and heavy weapons in areas above -30C.
